Best Western Plus Lancashire Manor Hotel, Skelmersdale

The hotel has modern, very clean rooms with comfortable beds and good powerful showers. Request a ground floor room if mobility is an issue or you have heavy luggage since there are no lifts to the second floor. The rooms were basic but clean; however, a refurbishment is needed to meet the standards of the new rooms.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were lovely decorated and spotless, making me eager to recommend or stay again, but unfortunately, cleanliness was a major issue with visible dust and black mold in the bathroom. The service was extremely helpful and friendly, especially during the ceremony and reception. The location was convenient for my needs, although the industrial estate setting was a bit strange. The dining options had good choices, but the greasy food was a major letdown.
